Week 12 – Drivers Wanted

I posted a note on the MRC forum about this. This week we’re looking for support from runners who want to run part of the marathon course and can drive the support vehicles for the other portions. There is quite a bit of organizing needed to figure this out so the sooner I know who’s in, the better the planning will be. Either send me an e-mail or post here if you can help our band of marathoners get in their last big training run of the 2008 winter training session.

Also, let’s start an early roll call here so I know how many empty seats we’ll need to get people out to Hopkinton and back from Boston.

Thanks,
Jim

save me a seat. Looking to do 20-22

  2. Andrew Pate says:

I am “ALL IN.” Including my van.

  3. Mike York says:

I am in for about 18-20 ish and can be a water stop if needed.

    Mike

  4. Joanne Piper says:

I can drive (room for 4 passengers) and do a water stop. I’d like to run 9-10 miles if you can figure out the logistics. What time would we be leaving from Brueggers?

  5. Sue Clough says:

I’d like to run with Joanne the 9-10 miles, preferably the same as last year and hopefully this time we remember to take the turn we missed last year.

  6. Lois Parker Carmona says:

Count me in. I don’t want to commit to the mileage just yet, but the plan is to run 20-22.

  7. Walter Drag says:

I’m in for 22… can add a car if needed. The weather looks decent for this run after the foul wintry stuff of Friday/early Sat. dry chilly head or north cross wind of 10 to 15 mph. tentatively a 30s run and not sure on cloud cover yet.

  8. Ed Torres says:

I plan to do the whole thing, 22 that is…

  9. Brian Gilroy says:

I’ll see you at 7. I like Jim’s idea of breaking it down to 7 short runs of 3 miles each. For some reason it seems easier.
