  1. Courtney Koschei says:

Thanks, Jim!! Can’t wait!! I will be making a mimosa station and a coffee cake or something of the sorts.

Rob will bring ice and some cheap, I mean, classy, champagne. If we’re lucky maybe he will grill for us at Dell-After-Dark.

Tom has been enlisted to take care of plastic forks, knives, spoons. SPORKS from KFC..

Gail is bringing a ham, rolls, and mustard. (Thank you, so generous!!)

Dorota I believe told me crepes? Yummm

If someone can do plastic plates and bowls that would be awesome!! I have plastic champagne flutes as well as Solo cups.

Thanks, everyone! Looking forward to it!

  2. Allison Cunningham says:

    Hi,

I can do the plastic bowls and a fruit salad.

    🙂

  3. Rob says:

    I’ll grill some buff wings

  4. Jackie Ecker says:

Not sure if there are kids besides Christopher coming but I can bring kids juice boxes for the next gen MRC’ers in attendance.

Also, I make excellent Bloody Mary’s so I will bring fixings for that: Bloody Mary mix, vodka, celery, lemons and Tabasco sauce.

The drinks will probably go quickly so if anyone else wants to also bring vodka and Bloody Mary mix, I am sure these ingredients will not go to waste.

We can’t get there until 12:30 (Christopher has soccer) but I can drop off supplies the day before, if you need them. Just let me know.

  5. Judi Chiavetta says:

Lee and I can come if it’s kid friendly. If not, one of us will be there to represent 🙂 We will bring something on the sweet side-haven’t decided what yet! And maybe some Sangria (no, not the bottled kind)-tis’ the season!!

  6. Courtney Koschei says:

Why yes, 77Dell is kid-friendly for the next generation of MRC (the host is actually an overgrown child)! And if they are bored/horrified with my debauchery, there is also the playground on Upham Street about a 30 second walk away!

    And sangria, mmmm…!

  7. Courtney Koschei says:

Also – if anyone has coolers and/or lawn chairs, please bring!!!

  8. Elisa Lam says:

I think we have a cooler in the attic and we have a few chairs that I can drag over. =)

  9. Courtney says:

Elisa can we make this a block party?

  10. Elisa Lam says:

I’m sure we can! Between all our houses, we should have everything we need!

  11. Casey Stratford says:

I’ll stop by with a couple quiches and a couple wild little boys! Courtney – You might change your mind about having kids around after they run wild for a few minutes.
Hoping to join the 8am run too.

  12. Jannel says:

I have a cooler and at least 3 chairs. I’ll bring frozen lemonade for adults and if warm frozen goodies for the kids. I can either bring salad or veggies and dip. Let me know which.

  13. Courtney says:

    Thanks Casey and Jannel!!

J- either is great I have no preference at all! Do the easier of the two 😉

  14. Rowena Hakkaoui says:

Since it’s a kid friendly, I do have my 10 year old daughter, Meryem (she was a flower girl at the MRFW), and Jamal (4yrs old) who ran the race.

I’ll bring something for the grill.

  15. Michele DeAngelo says:

    I’m in…I’ll bring bagels and muffins…
    Thanks for hosting…

  16. Donny cranley says:

I will be there! Courtney…..text me what you feel we need that no one has committed…..and I’ll be sure to bring!

  17. Jackie Ecker says:

Since there are so many next gen MRC kiddos coming, I picked up: hot dogs, buns and juice boxes at Market Basket this morning. This is in addition to the Bloody Mary supplies I also picked up (not for the kiddos). Christopher is already looking forward to more “wild little boys” to play with. Courtney, your house may be suffering a bit after this shindig. 🙂

  18. Courtney says:

Thanks everyone!!! Weather looks iffy so be prepared to be squished in my tiny frat house. But I hear the more you drink the more spacious it appears…

Can someone please bring dinner plates and/or smaller snack plates? I have some napkins but could probably use some more as well.

Also bags of ice will always be appreciated with coolers – to scatter around.

    Oh and 7266 vanilla Gus.

We are looking good to go!!!! This should be a really fun time!!! Thanks everyone for your generosity and willingness to bring food/drinks/etc!!!

  19. Matt Kerton says:

I will be there. I’ll gladly pick up dinner plates and snack plates. Still on the fence on what to bake/bring to eat but I’ll be sure to make it sugary/sweet.

  20. Courtney says:

Thanks Matt!! Can’t wait to celebrate your PR!!!!

  21. Don Keren says:

I’ll bring something but I don’t know what!

  22. Courtney says:

    I request Monty!

  23. Jannel says:

I’ll bring ice in the cooler also I have a table I can bring as well especially if it’s nice out.

  24. Michele DeAngelo says:

    Courtney,
If your starting the grill I’ll bring burgers.. Let me know…

  25. Courtney says:

I did plan on the grill but the weather looks super bad 🙁 so may have to be a game day decision.

Also for those bringing kids- my house is really tiny. Could someone maybe bring some board games or something for them if outside isn’t an option? Anything you can bring for entertainment would be very appreciated!! Thanks!

    See everyone tomorrow!! Yayyyy!!!!

  26. Rowena Hakkaoui says:

Courtney, as much as I would love to come without kids, I can’t, and I don’t want your beautiful house to be ruined by my kids. lol!

As you know, kids loveeee to touch everything!!!!

I’m going to have to forgo tomorrow. Gosh darn the rain!

  27. Jackie Ecker says:

Rowena, I’m still bringing Christopher and I’ll make sure he brings his toys so the boys will have something other than Courtney’s valuables to entertain themselves with during the festivities.

  28. Courtney says:

Can’t wait – see everyone tomorrow!

  29. Jim Carson says:

In all this I didn’t see anyone say anything about running. Hmmm. Is anyone going to Brueggers? I’ll swing by I guess.

Also the Brunch starts at 11ish. This should give you time to run if you want, then freshen up.

  30. Courtney says:

Or take a shower in the hose – Rob Busby style

  31. jeanne boisseau says:

Wasn’t sure we would be in Melrose this weekend, but we are so will see you with hummus and chips. Rain rain stay away!

  32. Courtney says:

    Thank you everyone!!!!!

  33. Krissy says:

I hope to be there to run at least 1/2. TY!!
